About Wellness Union
Wellness Union is a transparency-first directory of yoga and Pilates studios in Cape Town. We put prices and policies into one consistent format so you can compare studios before you commit. We don't take bookings, payments or reviews.
How we research
- We use the studio's own website, booking pages and Instagram posts, and what studios send us in writing.
- We record what the studio states. If something isn't stated, we show “Not listed” — we never guess.
- Every record shows its source and the date we last verified it. When a studio has sent us its terms and they aren't online, we say “provided by the studio”.
- Studios can check their own listing. “Confirmed by the studio” means the studio told us its listing is correct.
- AI may help draft research, but a person verifies everything before it is published.
Price indicator
Each drop-in price is compared with the average drop-in price of listed studios in the same class type — Yoga, Pilates Mat or Pilates Reformer. Different class types are never compared. We only show an indicator when at least 3 studios have a listed price.

Policies
How we show booking terms
We don't grade studios. We show each studio's cancellation, no-show, freeze and refund terms exactly as it publishes them, in the same format, next to what's typical in Cape Town — and you decide what matters to you.
What's typical
Next to each cancellation window we show the typical window across listed studios: the middle value of the windows they publish, with the shortest and longest. We only show it once at least 3 studios publish a window.
Filters
- Cancel free up to 4h before. Free cancellation up to 4 hours (or less) before class.
- No fees beyond the class. A late cancellation or no-show costs at most the class itself, with no extra fees or stacked penalties.
- Not charged if your spot is refilled. Late cancellations aren't charged, or you get your class or money back when someone takes your spot.
- Policy on the studio's website. The cancellation rules are on the studio's website or booking page, so you can read them before you buy.
Not listed isn't a no. A filter only includes studios whose published policy confirms that term. If a studio doesn't list something, we show “Not listed” and leave it out of that filter — we never assume the worst.
Our view. We think booking should be fair both ways: studios deserve notice, and you shouldn't pay twice for one spot. That's why these filters exist — but which terms matter is your call.
